Hulo selected by National Screen Institute

Hulo Films and producer Ryan Lockwood have been selected for the National Screen Institute (NSI) Global Marketing Program.

NSI Global Marketing MIPTV is an intensive, market-driven training and mentorship program for established Canadian television producers. It helps producers mold projects into marketable products and connect with international partners at MIPTV.

This year, five Canadian producers were selected for the program. Ryan is excited to receive training from Canadian industry vets like Peter Raymont (Shake Hands with the Devil), Liz Hover and Mickey Rogers.

All producers are invited to Toronto for 'Boot Camp' in February and then Ryan will head to Cannes, France in April where he will be pitching Hulo's documentary and dramatic properties to international buyers at MIPTV, one of the largest TV markets in the world.

As the first MIP Market of the year, MIPTV gives the world its first taste of the newest programmes, freshest formats and latest innovations for TV, Internet, Mobile and all Video-rich platforms.
